​The Library
Welcome to the Stewart County Middle School Library! Students may visit the library at any time to check out books, research, or work on projects.
Loans
Students may check out one book, but if more than one is needed, please feel free to talk to the librarian. Books may be checked out for two weeks or renewed after that period. If a book is lost, you must pay for it. Remember you are responsible for that book.
Visit by whole classes
All students will be scheduled to visit the library during their gym or band class.
Research Projects
Please collaborate with the librarian one week ahead of time so that she can plan their lesson and/or gather resources that will best suit the needs of your class. A copy of your lesson plan would be helpful to gather appropriate books and other materials to be checked out to the teacher for classroom use or research projects.
Faculty and Staff
Teachers may request books on specific topics for use in their classrooms. Teachers need to give sufficient notice for appropriate materials which will be pulled and placed on a cart for pickup.
