Welcome to SCMS Library!

I enjoy being the Library Media Specialist for our school!  I will be working with students collaboratively to ensure reading and research skills will enhance students' learning.

 

 My husband Greg and I have been together for over 40 years. We have 3 children, Jonathan, Jordan Beth, and Lexi, and  4 granddaughters, Hadley, NoraLee, Cora Beth & Millie Jo. Jonathan is married to Julie Anderson Barrow and works @ Nashville Fire EMS. Our daughter, Jordan, is married to Billy Gilboy and is a nurse and marketer for Tennova. Our daughter, Lexi, is married to Kevin Barnett and is a marketer for Fast Pace. Everyone is in the health field except me.....

 

Hobbies:

I enjoy Writing, fishing, traveling, kayaking,  running, and reading.

Experience:

This is my 26th year of teaching!! I have a Masters in Education, Masters +30 in Reading Specialist, and a degree in Library Media Specialist. Most of my teaching career is in writing and reading.
